Renewing Your Mortgage

MORTGAGE RENEWAL

When you are approaching the end of your mortgage term, you will most likely get a “Renewal Letter” in the mail/email or an aggressive phone call from your current lender. This message or call will usually aggressively offer a high rate or features that limit your mortgage, in the hope that you will just sign on the dotted line. And as a result, costing you more money.

DO NOT SIGN OR AGREE TO THIS!!

They will most likely give you a tight timeline to accept the offer to pressure you into something ASAP. But it is important to realize that your lender wants to get as much money out of you as they can. This is where I come in. I will find you better terms at a better interest rate. Best of all, it costs you nothing to switch, and it would save you thousands of dollars in interest. In other words, I will SAVE YOU MONEY!

I have personally seen lenders renew their clients into a mortgage that prevents them from leaving them in the future. The wording of these conditions get mixed up in the renewal letter, and as a result, it can be easy to overlook.

With this in mind, fill out my Renewal Reminder form and I will send you a reminder when your mortgage comes up for renewal. After all, you want the best opportunity to save the most amount of money on your mortgage.
